Fintech Payment Services among Fresh Graduates: The UTAUT Model Perspective

The evolvement of Fintech especially in digital payment services has affected many sectors Malaysia. Despite the various benefits offered by Fintech, adoption rate is still at nascent stage among IT savvy generation such as fresh graduates. Unified Theory Acceptance and Use Technology (UTAUT) Model been widely used to measure users’ technology acceptance. objective this study investigate application UTAUT model on relationship between performance expectancy, effort social influence, consumers’ trust, national culture measured towards adoption. Data was collected via an online survey a total 176 respondents. revealed that expectancy cultural factors individualism had significant effect decision services. On other hand, remainder independent variables have no influence over Findings contributes Malaysia ecosystem providing recommendations providers, financial institutions, government for policy making. research further supports nation’s goal becoming cashless society strategy increase inclusion.
